I just went to the dentist Tuesday and they told me I had an abscess and that my root nerve had began to die but they could save my tooth with a root canal and crown but that would cost like $2,000 ~_~ so they pulled it lol and the nurse said the infection was gone

i had an abcess incident over a year ago, went to the hospital in emence pain and they cat scanned me or mri or w/e and said it was an abcess, they gave me a perscrition for penecilin and pain killers. its been a year since then and now im getting constant headaches behind my right eye and pain coming back above that same tooth. could it be that the abcess is spreading into my sinus canal? hence the reason for the headaches?
